Bits of Torah Truths – Paul Confirms Torah Concept of Uncleanness of the Nations – Episode 102
2 Corinthians 6:17
יז עַל כֵּן ״צְאוּ מִתּוֹכָם וְהִבָּרוּ, נְאֻם יהוה, וְטָמֵא אַל–תִּגָּעוּ״; (ישעיהו נב׳ יא׳–יב׳) וַאֲנִי אֲקַבֵּל אֶתְכֶם.
2 Corinthians 6:17
17 “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. (NASB)
Here in 2 Corinthians 6:17 Paul uses Isaiah 52:11 and Ezekiel 20:34 and 20:41 to teach a Torah based principle of the uncleanness of the nation’s. We are told to come out of the nations and touch not what is unclean. Notice how in the NT text these Torah based concepts are valid today! The Torah has not passed away!
