Tehillim / Psalms 24, Part 1, The Gate of our Hearts and the King of Glory

635

This week’s study is from Tehillim / Psalms 24:1-10, David opens saying A Psalm of David. 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it. (NASB)  Who is in control of this world? Is it God or is it the evil one? Yeshua said in Matthew 28:18 “ALL power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”  Here David says that the earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, he goes on to say 24:2 For He has founded it upon the seas And established it upon the rivers. (NASB)  The reason the earth is the Lord’s is because He is the one who formed the dry land and the seas and who established the rivers upon the land. 24:3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? 24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. (NASB)  Those who are able to stand in the presence of God do so with clean hand and a pure heart and are not lifted up in falsehood, lies, and deceit.  Such people will receive a blessing from the Lord 24:5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord And righteousness from the God of his salvation. NASB).  Read More here: Tehillim 24-Part1
