ו הָאוֹמֵר שֶׁהוּא עוֹמֵד בְּיֵשׁוּעַ, כְּדֶרֶךְ שֶׁהִתְהַלֵּךְ יֵשׁוּעַ כֵּן גַּם עָלָיו לְהִתְהַלֵּךְ.
1 John 2:6
6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. (NASB)
The apostle John wrote in 1 John 2:6 that abiding in the Messiah means we are to walk in the way that he walked. How did Yeshua walk? He lived his life according to the Torah of God. The basic conclusion from this scripture verse is that we are to walk as Yeshua Messiah walked in the Torah. The Torah has not passed away!
