כג זֹאת מִצְוָתוֹ׃ לְהַאֲמִין בְּשֵׁם בְּנוֹ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ וְלֶאֱהֹב זֶה אֶת זֶה כְּפִי שֶׁצִּוָּנוּ.
1 John 3:23
23 And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. (NASB)
Notice what John says here, we are to love God, love others, and believe in the Messiah that is sent from God according to 1 John 3:23. We note how these are Torah centric principles that are taught in the NT text. The Messiah leads us in righteousness and truth! The basic conclusion is that to believe in Yeshua as Messiah is to be a Torah based faith. The Torah has not passed away.
