Our society is filled with conspiracy theories and a good number of movies have been centered upon one conspiracy theory or another. But, did you know that dwelling upon the various conspiracy theories that are shown on television or on the internet can actually hinder our spiritual growth and tarnish our witness and ministry to those around us?
In this short paper we will investigate how dwelling upon conspiracy theories may affect our spiritual walk by (i) causing sin to enter into our lives, (ii) lashon hara (evil speech), a form of communication that is rooted in unholiness, and (iii) having a lack of faith and trust in God.
