Paul taught “Let Rebels to truth remain ignorant” according to 1 Corinthians 14:38. The Torah does not explicitly state that rebels must remain ignorant, but there are passages that touch on themes of willful ignorance and rejection of divine instruction. For example, in Exodus 7:13-14 Pharaoh hardened his heart and refused to acknowledge God’s power, despite witnessing miracles. This reflects the idea that some individuals persist in ignorance even when confronted with truth. In Deuteronomy 29:4 Moses tells Israel that despite all the signs and wonders they have seen, God has not given them a heart to understand. This suggests that spiritual insight is granted by God, and some may remain blind to it. In Numbers 16:12-14 Dathan and Abiram refuse to come before Moses, rejecting his leadership and divine authority. Their defiance mirrors the concept of rebels choosing to remain ignorant. We also note prophecy according to Isaiah 6:9-10 which speaks of people who hear but do not understand, and see but do not perceive, reinforcing the idea that some are resisting the truth. These examples suggest that while the Torah does not explicitly command rebels to remain ignorant, it acknowledges that some will reject divine wisdom despite clear evidence just like Paul wrote in his epistle. This is how Paul and the NT text taught Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
