A Psalm of David; for a memorial. (NASB)<\/span><\/em> a psalm, a song for remembrance. In Parashat Yitro, <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Shemot \/ Exodus 20:24<\/span><\/em>, the Lord said <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u201c&#8230; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.\u201d (NASB)<\/span><\/em> Notice how the Scriptures say the altar is to be built in a particular way (without tools) and not to be built in places that are chosen arbitrarily, but at places which the Lord has chosen. David continues by seeking the Lord for help saying, <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u05d1 \u05d0\u05b1\u05dc\u05b9\u05d4\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05b7\u05e6\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9\u05dc\u05b5\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05b9\u05d5\u05b8\u05d4 \u05dc\u05b0\u05e2\u05b6\u05d6\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d7\u05d5\u05bc\u05e9\u05c1\u05b8\u05d4: 70:1 O God, hasten to deliver me; O Lord, hasten to my help! (NASB)<\/span><\/em> similar to <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tehillim \/ Psalms 38:22<\/span><\/em>. He defines the kind of help that he is seeking saying, \u05d2 \u05d9\u05b5\u05d1\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05bc \u05d5\u05b0\u05d9\u05b7\u05d7\u05b0\u05e4\u05bc\u05b0\u05e8\u05d5\u05bc \u05de\u05b0\u05d1\u05b7\u05e7\u05b0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b5\u05d9 \u05e0\u05b7\u05e4\u05b0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d9\u05b4\u05e1\u05bc\u05b9\u05d2\u05d5\u05bc \u05d0\u05b8\u05d7\u05d5\u05b9\u05e8 \u05d5\u05b0\u05d9\u05b4\u05db\u05bc\u05b8\u05dc\u05b0\u05de\u05d5\u05bc \u05d7\u05b2\u05e4\u05b5\u05e6\u05b5\u05d9 \u05e8\u05b8\u05e2\u05b8\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9: \u05d3 \u05d9\u05b8\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05bc\u05d1\u05d5\u05bc \u05e2\u05b7\u05dc-\u05e2\u05b5\u05e7\u05b6\u05d1 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b8\u05e9\u05c1\u05b0\u05ea\u05bc\u05b8\u05dd \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b9\u05de\u05b0\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d4\u05b6\u05d0\u05b8\u05d7 | \u05d4\u05b6\u05d0\u05b8\u05d7: <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">70:2 Let those be ashamed and humiliated Who seek my life; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt. 70:3 Let those be turned back because of their shame Who say, \u2018Aha, aha!\u2019 (NASB)<\/span><\/em> David speaks of shame and humiliation for those who seek his life. The idea is for those who are in the covenant relationship with the Lord, they will also be in fellowship with David and seeking the Lord God in heaven at His Tabernacle.
