A Psalm of David. 31:1 In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. (NASB)<\/em>\u00a0 David seeks refuge in the Lord never to be ashamed and because of the Lord\u2019s righteousness He will deliver him.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 David requests that the Lord rescue him quickly, be his rock of strength, and stronghold to save (<em>31:2<\/em>).\u00a0 He then declares the Lord to be these things and that He will lead and guide him (<em>31:3<\/em>).\u00a0 He describes the trap that his enemies have set for him saying \u05d4\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u05ea\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e6\u05b4\u05d9\u05d0\u05b5\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05de\u05b5\u05e8\u05b6\u05e9\u05c1\u05b6\u05ea \u05d6\u05d5\u05bc \u05d8\u05b8\u05de\u05b0\u05e0\u05d5\u05bc \u05dc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05db\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9-\u05d0\u05b7\u05ea\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4 \u05de\u05b8\u05e2\u05d5\u05bc\u05d6\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9:\u00a0 \u05d5\u00a0 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05d9\u05b8\u05d3\u05b0\u05da\u05b8 \u05d0\u05b7\u05e4\u05b0\u05e7\u05b4\u05d9\u05d3 \u05e8\u05d5\u05bc\u05d7\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05d3\u05b4\u05d9\u05ea\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05b9\u05d5\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b5\u05dc \u05d0\u05b1\u05de\u05b6\u05ea:<\/span> <em>31:4 You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength. 31:5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth. (NASB)<\/em>\u00a0 It is those who trust in idols that set these traps (<em>31:7<\/em>).\u00a0 According to David, the Lord knows our afflictions and the trouble of our souls (<em>31:7<\/em>), the Lord has not given us over to our enemies (<em>31:8<\/em>).
