The Torah repeatedly presents YHWH as the healer of Israel and establishes patterns of care, restoration, and divine intervention for those who suffer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&#8211; Torah parallels &#8211; <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Exodus 15:26 \u2013 YHWH declares Himself the healer of Israel, promising protection from diseases if they heed His voice. 2. Deuteronomy 7:15 \u2013 YHWH promises to remove sickness from Israel and not lay the diseases of Egypt upon them. 3. Numbers 12:10\u201315 \u2013 Moses intercedes for Miriam\u2019s healing, and YHWH restores her after a period of separation. 4. Exodus 23:25 \u2013 YHWH promises to bless Israel\u2019s bread and water and take sickness away from them. 5. Deuteronomy 32:39 \u2013 YHWH proclaims that He wounds and heals, showing His sovereign power over sickness and restoration. 6. Numbers 21:7\u20139 \u2013 YHWH provides healing through the bronze serpent when the people look upon it in faith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&#8211; Context Synthesis &#8211; <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yeshua\u2019s commissioning of His disciples to heal the sick continues a long-standing Torah pattern in which YHWH is the source of healing and restoration. The Torah consistently portrays healing as an act of divine mercy, often mediated through intercession, obedience, or symbolic actions that point to YHWH\u2019s power. In sending His disciples to heal, Yeshua extends this covenant theme by making His followers instruments of the same restorative compassion that YHWH displayed toward Israel. The Torah\u2019s emphasis on YHWH as healer forms the theological foundation for the healing ministry entrusted to Yeshua\u2019s disciples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&#8211; Core Insight &#8211; <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Torah teaches that healing flows from YHWH\u2019s character and His desire to restore His people.
