The Torah repeatedly commands Israel to stand, hold fast, and not turn aside. The Torah emphasizes that Israel\u2019s faithfulness is corporate, not merely individual. Exod. 17:11\u201313, Num. 14:1\u201310, Deut. 20:1-4, 31:12-13.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cOne Spirit\u201d<\/em><\/span> = The Torah\u2019s Vision of a People Formed by God\u2019s Presence. In the Torah, God\u2019s presence among Israel is what unifies them. The Torah repeatedly calls Israel to one mind and one purpose in their covenant life.
