Shavuot anticipates future harvest. Paul\u2019s <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201crejoice in hope\u201d<\/em><\/span> is the natural extension of this Torah pattern: Joy is the covenant response to God\u2019s guaranteed future.
