(NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Hebrews 10:19\u201323 <br><\/strong>10:19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 10:20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 10:21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 10:22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; (NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.matsati.com\/index.php\/category\/bits-of-torah-truths\/ \">https:\/\/www.matsati.com\/index.php\/category\/bits-of-torah-truths\/ <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are powerful Torah parallels to the idea of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201ccoming boldly to the throne of grace\u201d<\/em><\/span> as described in Hebrews 4:16 and 10:19\u201323. While the Torah doesn\u2019t use the same language, it lays the foundation for approaching God with confidence, especially through covenant, priesthood, and sanctuary access. &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Torah Parallels<\/span> &#8211; Exodus 25:8 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cLet them make Me a sanctuary\u2026that I may dwell among them.\u201d<\/em><\/span> God\u2019s desire to dwell among His people through the Tabernacle is the earliest<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em> \u201cthrone of grace\u201d<\/em> <\/span>concept. The mercy seat atop the Ark of the Covenant was literally the place where God\u2019s presence met Israel (Ex. 25:22). Though access was restricted, it was still a grace-based invitation. Leviticus 16 Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) The High Priest enters the Holy of Holies once a year with blood to make atonement. This is the Torah\u2019s most direct precedent for Hebrews 10:19\u201322, which speaks of entering <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cthe holiest by the blood of Jesus.\u201d<\/em><\/span> The boldness in Hebrews is a contrast to the caution and ritual of Leviticus, but the concept of approaching God through a mediator is shared. Note also Numbers 12:6\u20138 Moses\u2019 Unique Access, and what it says in Deuteronomy 4:7 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cFor what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us whenever we call upon Him?\u201d<\/em><\/span> These verses celebrate Israel\u2019s privilege of direct access to God, a grace-based nearness that anticipates the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cbold approach\u201d<\/em><\/span> of Hebrews. The <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cthrone of grace\u201d<\/em><\/span> is rooted in God\u2019s character (Exodus 34:6). When Moses asked to see God\u2019s glory, he was shown His mercy. Hebrews builds on this by inviting believers to approach that same character with confidence. The Torah doesn\u2019t use the phrase <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201ccome boldly,\u201d<\/em><\/span> but it introduces the architecture of grace: the sanctuary, the mercy seat, the priesthood, and the covenant. Hebrews interprets these through the lens of Christ\u2019s priesthood, opening the way for all to approach God directly and confidently.
