Leviticus 19:17-18 &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rebuke and forgiveness<\/span> &#8211; <em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cYou shall not hate your brother in your heart\u2026 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge\u2026 but you shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u201d<\/span><\/em> This passage urges internal resolution and relational repair. Exodus 22:26-27 &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Timely restoration<\/span> &#8211; <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cIf you take your neighbor\u2019s cloak as a pledge, return it to him before sunset\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/span> While not about anger, it emphasizes daily closure and restoration before nightfall. Genesis 4:6-7 &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mastering emotion<\/span> &#8211; God warns Cain: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cWhy are you angry?&#8230; sin is crouching at the door\u2026 but you must master it.\u201d<\/em><\/span> This speaks to emotional control before sin takes root. Deuteronomy 24:15 &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Justice before sundown<\/span> &#8211; <em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cYou shall give him his wages before the sun sets\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/em> Again, the motif of resolving obligations before day&#8217;s end. The Torah doesn\u2019t use the exact phrase <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cdon\u2019t let the sun go down on your wrath,\u201d<\/em><\/span> but it consistently teaches: Timely resolution of conflict, Avoidance of grudges and vengeance, Mastery over emotional impulses, and Daily accountability and restoration.
