For example, Murderer &#8211; Exodus 20:13 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cYou shall not murder.\u201d<\/em><\/span> Genesis 9:6 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cWhoever sheds man&#8217;s blood, by man his blood shall be shed.\u201d<\/em><\/span> Numbers 35:16\u201321 Details intentional vs. accidental killing and the consequences. The Torah consistently treats murder as a capital offense, emphasizing justice and the sanctity of life. Thief &#8211; Exodus 20:15 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cYou shall not steal.\u201d<\/em><\/span> Exodus 22:1\u20134 Laws on restitution for theft, including double or fourfold repayment. Leviticus 6:1\u20135 Addresses deceit and theft, requiring confession and restitution. Theft is not just a legal violation; it\u2019s a breach of covenantal trust and communal integrity. Evildoer &#8211; Deuteronomy 17:2\u20135 Addresses those who do evil in the sight of the Lord, especially idolatry. Leviticus 18 &amp; 19 Lists various moral and ethical evils, from sexual immorality to injustice. In Deuteronomy 25:1\u20132 Judges are to distinguish between the righteous and the evildoer. We note the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cEvildoer\u201d<\/em><\/span> in the Torah is often tied to rebellion against God\u2019s commands and social corruption. Being a Busybody of gossip &#8211; While not a formal legal category, the Torah warns against gossip, slander, and meddling. Leviticus 19:16 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cYou shall not go about as a talebearer among your people.\u201d<\/em><\/span> Proverbs 26:17 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cLike one who grabs a dog by the ears is one who meddles in a quarrel not his own.\u201d<\/em><\/span> The Torah emphasizes peace in the home and community, discouraging disruptive behavior. Peter\u2019s warning aligns with the Torah\u2019s ethical framework: suffering should come from righteousness, not wrongdoing. The Torah doesn\u2019t just prohibit these behaviors, it outlines restorative justice, communal harmony, and covenantal responsibility.
