Exodus 18:21 “But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials.” This passage emphasizes personal integrity and proving one’s worth through righteous actions. Numbers 13:30 when Caleb urged Israel to take the land, he demonstrated confidence in the Lord God Almighty rather than comparing himself to others. This reflects the principle in Galatians 6:4 about taking pride in one’s own efforts. Deuteronomy 30:11-14 “The command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach… No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.” This passage reinforces the idea that each person is responsible for their own actions and must prove their commitment to God’s truth. These verses demonstrate how the Torah encourages self-examination, personal accountability, and proving one’s own work—just as Paul teaches in Galatians.
