Some relevant parallels include the following: Genesis 40:8 Joseph interprets the dreams of Pharaoh\u2019s cupbearer and baker, demonstrating that interpretation is a divine gift meant to bring clarity and understanding. Numbers\u00a011:25\u00a0When God distributes His Spirit among the seventy elders, they prophesy, showing that divine communication often requires interpretation or explanation. Deuteronomy\u00a01:15-17 Moses appoints judges to ensure fair rulings, reinforcing the idea that interpretation and explanation are necessary for communal understanding. These passages reflect the broader biblical principle that divine messages should be understood and communicated effectively, aligning with Paul&#8217;s instruction in 1 Corinthians\u00a014:27\u00a0that speaking in tongues should be accompanied by interpretation.
