(NASB)\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.matsati.com\/index.php\/category\/bits-of-torah-truths\/\u00a0\">https:\/\/www.matsati.com\/index.php\/category\/bits-of-torah-truths\/\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Torah contains several passages that emphasize the importance of avoiding self-deception and seeking true wisdom similar to Paul\u2019s teaching <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cLet No man deceive himself\u201d<\/em><\/span> (1 Corinthians\u00a03:18). For example, in Deuteronomy\u00a011:16, Moses warns Israel, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> This reflects the idea in 1 Corinthians\u00a03:18, where Paul cautions against being deceived by worldly wisdom. In addition, we read in Jeremiah 17:9 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?&#8221;<\/em><\/span> While Jeremiah is technically in the Neviim (Prophets), this verse aligns with the Torah\u2019s repeated warnings about the dangers of self-deception and the need for divine wisdom.
