For example, Purity of Heart and Inner Integrity according to Deuteronomy 6:5. This commandment calls for wholehearted devotion, indicating that genuine love for God encompasses one’s entire being—mind, will, and emotions. Loving God “with all your heart” suggests that one’s inner thoughts and feelings should be fully committed, reflecting a clear and undefiled conscience. Circumcision of the Heart mentioned in Deuteronomy 10:16 symbolizes removing anything that hinders sincere devotion to God. It urges individuals to cleanse their inner selves from impurities and rebellious attitudes, aligning their conscience with divine expectations. Similarly, Deuteronomy 30:6 emphasizes that a pure heart—a cleansed conscience—is essential for a life in harmony with God’s will. Additional parallels include Inner Honesty and Avoiding Deception (Leviticus 19:11), Love Your Neighbor as Yourself (Leviticus 19:17-18) Self-Examination and Repentance (Numbers 5:6-7), Integrity in Actions and Intentions (Exodus 20:17), and Walking Blamelessly Before God (Genesis 17:1). The ancient Torah text speaks timeless truths about the human condition and our relationship with the God. The emphasis on inner purity, integrity, and the alignment of heart and actions underscores the universal significance of maintaining a good conscience that is consistent with the NT text. This is how Paul taught Torah, the Torah has not passed away!

Bits of Torah Truths – Torah Concept in the NT: Keep A Good Conscience – Episode 452 #torah #torahwisdom #torahtruth #torahforlife #torah4you #torahtruth 1 Timothy 1:19 1:19 keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith.
