For example, in Genesis 15:6 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> This verse highlights Abram&#8217;s (later Abraham) faith in God&#8217;s promises, which was deemed righteous. We also read according to Deuteronomy\u00a01:32\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;In spite of this, you did not trust in the LORD your God.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> This verse addresses the lack of faith among the Israelites and highlights the importance of trusting in God&#8217;s guidance and promises. Also, Exodus\u00a014:31\u00a0states, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> This verse underscores the faith of Israel in the Lord God after witnessing His power. These verses, like those in the NT, emphasize the significance of faith and trust in God&#8217;s plans and promises. The concept of faith is foundational in both the Torah and the broader biblical tradition, encouraging believers to rely on and trust in God and in His Messiah.
