(Matt.\u00a04:19;\u00a05:22;\u00a016:24; Mark\u00a08:34;\u00a010:21; Luke\u00a09:23; John\u00a021:19) Torah based examples may be taken from following the Annointed one of God, such as Moses (Exodus\u00a03:10-12, Deuteronomy 18) which always corresponds to seeking the God of Israel and walking in His ways. This is consistent with the Call to Israel to Follow God&#8217;s Commandments (Deuteronomy 6:4-5) and to serve Him. These examples from the Torah illustrate the foundational principle of seeking the God of Israel by faith, obedience, and commitment, which is echoed and expanded upon in the New Testament call to follow Christ.
