In Exodus 23:4-5, there&#8217;s an important lesson that echoes this sentiment. It states, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;If you come across your enemy\u2019s ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it. If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> This command urges us to act with compassion and kindness towards our enemies, even those who harbor animosity. This emphasizes that doing good extends beyond personal feelings, highlighting the importance of compassion and helping others regardless of their attitude towards you. It aligns with the New Testament teaching of loving and doing good to those who hate you, demonstrating the consistency of this ethical principle throughout the scriptures.
