For example, Leviticus\u00a019:18\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> This commandment emphasizes the importance of love and compassion toward others, forming the foundation of ethical conduct and relationships within the community. Love and compassion are central themes in both the Torah and the NT, reflecting the enduring and universal nature of this fundamental value.
