(NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There are parallels in the Torah to the concept of being wary of being spoiled through philosophy, as mentioned in Colossians 2:8. We read the outcome of being spoiled indicated by what Moshe says in Deuteronomy 4:2 and\u00a012:32\u00a0regarding adding to or subtracting from the commands. These verses emphasize the importance of adhering strictly to God&#8217;s commandments and not being swayed by external philosophies or teachings. These passages highlight the importance of remaining faithful to God&#8217;s word and not being led astray by external influences, aligning with Paul&#8217;s warning in Colossians 2:8 about being cautious of philosophy and empty deceit.
