Examples may be taken from Deuteronomy 13:1-3 and\u00a018:20-22, each speak of those who distort and twist God\u2019s word for their own benefit. Moses gives us criteria for how to discern these false teachers. The conclusion is that these passages emphasize the importance of discerning true teachings from false ones and being cautious of those who might lead people away from the truth of God&#8217;s word. This aligns with Paul&#8217;s warning in Philippians 3:2 about being aware of evil workers.
