Examples may be taken from Deuteronomy\u00a08:19-20,\u00a028:15, and Leviticus 26:1-17. Deuteronomy\u00a08:19\u00a0speaks of not forgetting the Lord your God to follow other gods. Deuteronomy\u00a028:15\u00a0speaks to obeying the Lord God and being careful to walk in His commands. And Leviticus\u00a026:14-17 states if you will not listen to the Lord and come to abhor and reject God\u2019s commands, then these things will befall you (weakness, fear, diseases, etc). Note how these passages emphasize the importance of obedience to God and the consequences of turning away from Him, which aligns with the warning given in Acts\u00a013:40-41.
