The Torah contains passages that caution against trusting certain individuals and emphasize the need for vigilance. For example, in Deuteronomy 13:6-11 we are warned to be wary of even close family members or friends who might secretly entice them to worship other gods. The Torah emphasizes the importance of not yielding to such individuals and taking decisive action against them. Another example is Numbers 16, which describes the rebellion of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram against Moses and Aaron. This story highlights the dangers of following individuals who seek to undermine God\u2019s appointed leaders and cause division among the people. These passages from the Torah align with the message in Matthew\u00a010:17, which advises believers to be cautious of men.
