(NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There are parallels in the Torah to the concept of not being afraid, as mentioned in Luke 12:4. In fact, the most often proclaimed commandment in the Bible is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cDo not be afraid!\u201d<\/em><\/span> This commandment appears over 90 times in the Hebrew Bible, with 20 instances found in the Torah. For example, in Exodus 14:13, Moses tells the Israelites, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cDo not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.\u201d<\/em><\/span> Similarly, in Deuteronomy 3:22, it is written, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cDo not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.\u201d<\/em><\/span> These verses convey the idea of trusting in God and not fearing the actions of men.
