(NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The concept of being watchful or vigilant to strengthen oneself, as mentioned in Revelation 2:10, is a theme that can be found throughout the Bible. The Torah emphasizes the importance of obedience to God\u2019s commandments and living a righteous life. Deuteronomy 6:17 instructs the Israelites to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His testimonies and His statutes which He has commanded you.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> Here individuals are to be vigilant in their adherence to God\u2019s Word to continually strive to grow in the Lord! This is how the Torah is used as a source text to derive the specific concept of being <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cwatchful to strengthen yourself\u201d<\/em><\/span> as it\u2019s presented in Revelation 2:10.
