(1 Peter 3:8) Moses, the author of the Torah, is often seen as a model of servant leadership. He led the Israelites out of Egypt not by asserting power over them, but by guiding them and interceding for them with God. In Numbers 12:3, Moses is described as <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cvery humble, more than any man who was on the face of the earth.\u201d<\/em><\/span> In Deuteronomy 17:20, the Torah instructs a king not to consider himself better than his fellow Israelites or turn from God\u2019s law to the right or left. This implies that a leader should not lord over the people but should instead serve as an example of adherence to God\u2019s Torah. These examples demonstrate that the Torah, like 1 Peter 3:8, emphasizes the importance of leaders being examples to their followers rather than asserting dominance over them.
