The Torah contains several parallels to the concept of maintaining good works. In the Torah, the importance of good deeds is a recurring theme. For instance, the concept of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201ctzedakah,\u201d<\/em><\/span> often translated as righteousness, is a fundamental commandment in Judaism. It involves giving to those in need and is considered a just and righteous act (Deuteronomy 15:7-11). This aligns with the idea of doing good works that benefit others and reflect a commitment to God\u2019s commands. The Torah also highlights the importance of ethical behavior in business and personal interactions, such as honest weights and measures (Leviticus 19:35-36), which can be considered as maintaining good works in daily life. Additionally, the Torah encourages the Israelites to be a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201clight unto the nations\u201d<\/em><\/span> (Isaiah 42:6), which can be paralleled with Jesus\u2019 teaching in Matthew 5:16 to let one\u2019s light shine before others through good deeds. This is how both Yeshua and Paul taught Torah!
