In the Torah, there are parallels to these concepts. The concept of repentance is a central theme in the Torah. For example, in Deuteronomy 30:2, it says, “and you return to the LORD your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse speaks about the act of returning to God, which is the essence of repentance. The forgiveness of sins, or the blotting out of sins, is also a theme found in the Torah. In Numbers 14:19, Moses pleads with God, saying, “Pardon, I pray, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of Your lovingkindness, just as You also have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.” This verse speaks to God’s ability and willingness to forgive sins. Note also how the concept of being renewed or refreshed by God’s presence is implied in several passages, such as in Exodus 33:14, God says to Moses, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” This rest could be seen as a form of spiritual refreshment. The Torah has not passed away.

https://www.matsati.com/index.php/category/bits-of-torah-truths/

Bits of Torah Truths – Torah Concept in the NT: Teshuvah – Repentance – Episode 245 #torah #torahwisdom #torahtruth #torahforlife #torah4you #torahtruth Acts 3:19 יט לָכֵן הִתְחָרְטוּ וְשׁוּבוּ בִּתְשׁוּבָה כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּמָּחוּ חֲטָאֵיכֶם, Acts 3:19 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come […]

[48,34

0":"post-21514","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-bits-of-torah-truths","8":"category-video
["GET
