(KJV)

Yeshua tells us to be Merciful as God is merciful (Luke 12:36). In the Torah, there are principles and commandments that encourage us to emulate God’s mercy and compassion. While it doesn’t explicitly say, “Be merciful as God is merciful,” the Torah provides guidance on compassionate behavior. For example, the Torah teaches that every human being is created betzelem Elohim (in the image of God, Genesis 1:27). Recognizing this inherent value in others encourages us to treat others with kindness and compassion. Leviticus 19:18 commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves. The Torah repeatedly emphasizes caring for the vulnerable (Leviticus 25:35, Deuteronomy 15:11) The Torah encourages forgiveness and compassion (Exodus 34:6-7, Deuteronomy 22:4) We are called to emulate these qualities. The Torah teachings guide us toward compassion, kindness, and mercy—qualities that reflect God’s nature. The Torah has not passed away.

https://www.matsati.com/index.php/category/bits-of-torah-truths/

Bits of Torah Truths – Torah Concept in the NT: Be Merciful as God is Merciful – Episode 230 #torah #torahwisdom #torahtruth #torahforlife #torah4you #torahtruth Luke 12:36 לו וְאַתֶּם הֱיוּ דּוֹמִים לַאֲנָשִׁים הַמְחַכִּים לַאֲדוֹנָם בְּצִפִּיָּה לְבוֹאוֹ מִן הַחֲתֻנָּה, בְּאֹפֶן שֶׁבְּבוֹאוֹ וּבְדָפְקוֹ יִפְתְּחוּ לוֹ מִיָּד.
