(KJV) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Note here in Matthew 5:48 how Yeshua is teaching Torah when he says be <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201ctamim\u201d<\/em><\/span> (\u05ea\u05b8\u05bc\u05de\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd) perfect because our Father in heaven is perfect. This is derived from Deuteronomy 18:13 where Moshe instructs the people to be tamim (perfect) with God. Here, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201ctamim\u201d<\/em><\/span> means to be wholeheartedly committed to God, mature in faith, and secure in our covenant relationship with Him. The concept of being <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201ctamim<\/em><\/span>\u201d (\u05ea\u05b8\u05bc\u05de\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd) carries a rich and nuanced meaning which involves more than mere perfection; it encompasses spiritual maturity, integrity, and a wholehearted commitment to God.
