(KJV) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Here in 1 Corinthians 15:34 Paul underscores the significance of following God\u2019s commandments, living by them, and recognizing the righteousness found in obedience. The idea of awaking to righteousness is synonymous to turning from sin. This is the purpose of the Torah (teaching and instructions) which is to guide us toward maturity and faith. When Torah is violated out of disrespect or defiant disobedience, discipline follows. However, when we desire to follow the instructions of God out of loving obedience we are commended by God.
