This is a very touchy subject for some.\u00a0 While discussing the question of Passover verses Easter, all kinds of feelings come upon us, anger, condemnation, hurt, wonder, and questions.\u00a0 While presenting the historical differences between Passover and Easter, their origins, etc, we have to be merciful with one another.\u00a0 This is how I choose to present this information, with mercy and lovingkindness towards one another.\u00a0 When we think on this topic, the question of compromise comes up.\u00a0 How much compromise have I allowed to enter into my life with regard to the Bible, my relationship with God, how I live my life?\u00a0 This reaches even beyond the subject matter of the holidays to the center of the very relationship that we have with one another and our relationship with God.\u00a0 Studying the Scriptures, the children of Israel had allowed a great amount of compromise into their lives that reached deep down in their relationship they had with God and one another.\u00a0 As a result, God gave Ezekiel a vision of the level of compromise they were willing to partake in, even to the desecrating the holy Temple of God, according to Ezekiel 8.\u00a0 Compromise is an important topic for us too because of the times that are coming (the last days) before the coming of our Lord and Savior Yeshua the Messiah.\u00a0 Whether we are caught up in the air soon (pretrib) or if the Lord tarries (post trib) we have many difficult decisions that we will need to make concerning compromise, our faith, and our relationship with God.\u00a0 Thinking on the compromise of our faith, what are we willing to allow into our lives from the nations (from this world)?\u00a0 Movies, music, television, the internet, lies, cheating, murders, lust?\u00a0 In Devarim \/ Deuteronomy 12<\/em>, the Lord God tells us to destroy all things that are not of God.\u00a0 Keeping this in mind, the question that is before us is should we really call the resurrection of Yeshua by the name “Easter?”\u00a0 I hope to answer this question in this week’s study titled “Passover or Easter?”\u00a0 Read more here: Passover-Easter<\/a>\u00a0 Study Notes:\u00a0 Easter-Passover_Notes<\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
