And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. (NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Note here the use of the Hebrew words, here the word \u05e2\u05d5\u05b9\u05de\u05b5\u05d3 is note used, which has the sense of standing in, instead the word \u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05db\u05b5\u05df is used which has the sense of dwelling in. John states very clearly here in 1 John 3:24 that to dwell \/ abide in the Messiah we are to keep God\u2019s commandments. This again is so important for God&#8217;s people that John repeats this over and over here in his epistle. Walk in the footsteps of the Messiah, obey God&#8217;s commands!
