(NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In this passage from James 2:23 we are being told how righteousness is accomplished through faith. James quotes from the Torah on Genesis 15:6 and provides a commentary on how righteous deeds are to be done in faith. The reason being is that obeying the Torah is a matter of faith and faithfulness. When one obeys Torah for any other reason than for the love for God and His holy ways, it&#8217;s not by faith.
