(NASB) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In Hebrews 12:26 the author of Hebrews quotes from Haggai 2:6 speaking of the God shaking heaven and earth. Some scholars have suggested that the shaking of the heavens and the Earth mentioned in Haggai 2:6-7 could be a reference to the events that took place during the Exodus, such as the parting of the Red Sea and the giving of the Ten Commandments. Others have suggested that the prophecy could be interpreted as a metaphor for the coming of the Messiah.
