(KJV) <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>We note how the 1 Corinthians\u00a015:55\u00a0quotes from Hosea\u00a013:14\u00a0both of which give Torah based concepts on death and the grave. The Torah describes death as the end of life, when the soul departs from the body and returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). The Torah also uses terms such as Sheol, pit, chasm, and oblivion to refer to the state or location of the dead.
