(KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Devarim \/ Deuteronomy 24:7<br><\/strong>7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you. (KJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Here Paul quotes from the Torah as a proof for what he is saying here in 1 Corinthians 5:12-13. All of the concepts Paul is stating here including judging those within the family of God and putting away the one who is evil is derived from Devarim \/ Deuteronomy 17:7, 19:19, 22:21, 24:7.
