Joseph then reveals himself to his brothers (<em>45:1-8<\/em>) and declares <span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u05d5\u05b0\u05e2\u05b7\u05ea\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4 \u05dc\u05b9\u05d0-\u05d0\u05b7\u05ea\u05bc\u05b6\u05dd \u05e9\u05c1\u05b0\u05dc\u05b7\u05d7\u05b0\u05ea\u05bc\u05b6\u05dd \u05d0\u05b9\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d4\u05b5\u05e0\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4 \u05db\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b1\u05dc\u05b9\u05d4\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05b0\u05e9\u05b4\u05b9\u05d9\u05de\u05b5\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d1 \u05dc\u05b0\u05e4\u05b7\u05e8\u05b0\u05e2\u05b9\u05d4 \u05d5\u05bc\u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d3\u05d5\u05b9\u05df \u05dc\u05b0\u05db\u05b8\u05dc-\u05d1\u05bc\u05b5\u05d9\u05ea\u05d5\u05b9 \u05d5\u05bc\u05de\u05e9\u05c1\u05b5\u05dc \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05db\u05b8\u05dc-\u05d0\u05b6\u05e8\u05b6\u05e5 \u05de\u05b4\u05e6\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05d9\u05b4\u05dd<\/span> <em>45:8 \u2018Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt. (NASB)<\/em>\u00a0 Joseph asks Israel and his brothers to move to the land of Goshen to live because the famine was will continue for another five years (<em>45:9-15<\/em>).\u00a0 Pharaoh ordered that his family come and he gave them the best of the land (<em>45:9-24<\/em>).\u00a0 On hearing that his son lives, Jacob makes an offering to the Lord God Almighty and travels to Egypt (<em>45:28-46:26<\/em>).\u00a0 We learn Jacob is 130 years old (<em>47:9<\/em>) and the people were settled in Goshen (<em>47:11-13<\/em>).\u00a0 The famine grew severe and the people gave all their money to obtain food <em>(47:14-15<\/em>).\u00a0 The people then brought their livestock and cattle to pay for the food (<em>47:16-17<\/em>).\u00a0 After this the people sold their land and themselves into slavery to buy grain for food to survive (<em>47:18-21<\/em>).\u00a0 In the opening verse from this week\u2019s reading we learn that Joseph\u2019s brothers say \u201cJoseph is dead\u201d (<em>44:18-20<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u05db\u05ea\u05d1\u05d9 \u05d4\u05e7\u05d5\u05d3\u05e9 \/ The Holy Scriptures\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right; padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em><strong>\u05e1\u05e4\u05e8 \u05d1\u05e8\u05d0\u05e9\u05d9\u05ea \u05e4\u05e8\u05e7 \u05de\u05d3<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u05d9\u05d7\u00a0\u00a0 \u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05bc\u05b4\u05d2\u05bc\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1 \u05d0\u05b5\u05dc\u05b8\u05d9\u05d5 \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d3\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05bc\u05b9\u05d0\u05de\u05b6\u05e8 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d0\u05b2\u05d3\u05b9\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d9\u05b0\u05d3\u05b7\u05d1\u05bc\u05b6\u05e8-\u05e0\u05b8\u05d0 \u05e2\u05b7\u05d1\u05b0\u05d3\u05bc\u05b0\u05da\u05b8 \u05d3\u05b8\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d6\u05b0\u05e0\u05b5\u05d9 \u05d0\u05b2\u05d3\u05b9\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b7\u05dc-\u05d9\u05b4\u05d7\u05b7\u05e8 \u05d0\u05b7\u05e4\u05bc\u05b0\u05da\u05b8 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05e2\u05b7\u05d1\u05b0\u05d3\u05bc\u05b6\u05da\u05b8 \u05db\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05db\u05b8\u05de\u05d5\u05b9\u05da\u05b8 \u05db\u05bc\u05b0\u05e4\u05b7\u05e8\u05b0\u05e2\u05b9\u05d4: \u05d9\u05d8\u00a0\u00a0 \u05d0\u05b2\u05d3\u05b9\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e9\u05c1\u05b8\u05d0\u05b7\u05dc \u05d0\u05b6\u05ea-\u05e2\u05b2\u05d1\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05d9\u05d5 \u05dc\u05b5\u05d0\u05de\u05b9\u05e8 \u05d4\u05b2\u05d9\u05b5\u05e9\u05c1-\u05dc\u05b8\u05db\u05b6\u05dd \u05d0\u05b8\u05d1 \u05d0\u05d5\u05b9-\u05d0\u05b8\u05d7: \u05db\u00a0\u00a0 \u05d5\u05b7\u05e0\u05bc\u05b9\u05d0\u05de\u05b6\u05e8 \u05d0\u05b6\u05dc-\u05d0\u05b2\u05d3\u05b9\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d9\u05b6\u05e9\u05c1-\u05dc\u05b8\u05e0\u05d5\u05bc \u05d0\u05b8\u05d1 \u05d6\u05b8\u05e7\u05b5\u05df \u05d5\u05b0\u05d9\u05b6\u05dc\u05b6\u05d3 \u05d6\u05b0\u05e7\u05bb\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05e7\u05b8\u05d8\u05b8\u05df \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d7\u05b4\u05d9\u05d5 \u05de\u05b5\u05ea \u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05bc\u05b4\u05d5\u05bc\u05b8\u05ea\u05b5\u05e8 \u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d0 \u05dc\u05b0\u05d1\u05b7\u05d3\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9 \u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b4\u05de\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9 \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d1\u05b4\u05d9\u05d5 \u05d0\u05b2\u05d4\u05b5\u05d1\u05d5\u05b9<\/span><\/em>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>Bereshit \/ Genesis 44:18-20<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<em>44:18 Then Judah approached him, and said, \u2018Oh my lord, may your servant please speak a word in my lord&#8217;s ears, and do not be angry with your servant; for you are equal to Pharaoh.\u00a0 44:19 \u2018My lord asked his servants, saying, &#8216;Have you a father or a brother?&#8217;\u00a0 44:20 \u2018We said to my lord, &#8216;We have an old father and a little child of his old age. Now his brother is dead, so he alone is left of his mother, and his father loves him.&#8217; (NASB)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Joseph\u2019s brothers say <em>\u201cNow his brother is dead\u201d<\/em> (<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d7\u05b4\u05d9\u05d5 \u05de\u05b5\u05ea<\/span>) referring to Joseph, were they simply trying to convince him that this one son (Benjamin) needed to be returned to their father?\u00a0 Did they believe the lie they had perpeturated for so many years to their father and to each other?\u00a0 When we speaking and living a lie, is this synonymous with taking pleasure in wickedness?\u00a0 How dangerous is it to live a lie like Joseph\u2019s brothers?\u00a0 The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians speaking on lies and wickedness.\u00a0 He says that the mystery of lawelessness is already at work.\u00a0 The one who comes in lies comes in wickedness and is in accord with the activity of Satan (<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u05e9\u05d8\u05df<\/span>) \u201cthe deceiver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>2 Thessalonians 2:7-12<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<em>2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 2:8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 2:9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 2:10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 2:11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 2:12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. (NASB)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Scripture says 10\u03ba\u03b1\u1f76 \u1f10\u03bd \u03c0\u1f71\u03c3\u1fc3 \u1f00\u03c0\u1f71\u03c4\u1fc3 \u1f00\u03b4\u03b9\u03ba\u1f77\u03b1\u03c2 \u03c4\u03bf\u1fd6\u03c2 \u1f00\u03c0\u03bf\u03bb\u03bb\u03c5\u03bc\u1f73\u03bd\u03bf\u03b9\u03c2, \u1f00\u03bd\u03b8\u2019 \u1f67\u03bd \u03c4\u1f74\u03bd \u1f00\u03b3\u1f71\u03c0\u03b7\u03bd \u03c4\u1fc6\u03c2 \u1f00\u03bb\u03b7\u03b8\u03b5\u1f77\u03b1\u03c2 \u03bf\u1f50\u03ba \u1f10\u03b4\u1f73\u03be\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u03bf \u03b5\u1f30\u03c2 \u03c4\u1f78 \u03c3\u03c9\u03b8\u1fc6\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9 \u03b1\u1f50\u03c4\u03bf\u1f7b\u03c2. stating literally \u201cand in every deception of unrighteousness among the ones being destroyed, because of the love of the truth they received not, for them to be delivered.\u201d\u00a0 Joseph\u2019s brothers took pleasure in the lie they told, and in order to keep one lie going they needed to continue to heap lie upon lie.\u00a0 This is the very nature of deception and wickedness in the life of one who lives to tell lies.\u00a0 In the last days, God said that He will send a powerful delusion upon those who live in lies and wickedness so they will continue to believe what is false.\u00a0 Like Joseph, even in the midst of a lie, Joseph lived!\u00a0 Today, even though some say that Yeshua is dead, the Truth is our savior Yeshua the Messiah lives!\u00a0 Without this Truth, there is no deliverance from sin or assurance of life everlasting.\u00a0 Do you believe the Lord according to His Word (the bible) or do you take pleasure in lies and choose to walk in wickedness?\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.matsati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/BTT_Parashat-Vayigash-2012.pdf\">BTT_Parashat Vayigash-2012<\/a>  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this weeks reading from Parashat Vayigash (Bereshit \/ Genesis 44:18-47:27) the sons of Israel return to Egypt with the cup of Joseph.\u00a0 They explain that they must bring their brother back or their father will die.
