Bereshit \/ Genesis 6:22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did.\u00a0 7:1\u00a0 Then the Lord said to Noah, \u2018Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous\u00a0before Me in this time. (NASB)\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>God told Noach that from all of the people of the world, only Noach\u2019s\u00a0 family, his sons and their wives were seen to be righteous before Him in that day.\u00a0 Can you imagine how alone Noach must\u00a0have felt, there was no one else considered righteous in his day.\u00a0 This brings to memory the passage in 1 Kings\u00a019:14<\/em><\/strong>, where Elijah (Eliyahu) was described as discouraged because he was thinking that he was alone in his stand\u00a0for the Lord.\u00a0 The Lord encouraged Elijah telling him that \u201cYet I have reserved <\/em>seven thousand in\u00a0Israel<\/em>, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>in\u00a01 Kings 19:18<\/strong>.
