\nthem construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. 25:9 ‘According to
\nall that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its
\nfurniture, just so you shall construct it. (NASB)<\/em> <\/font> Here the Lord does not
\ncommand the children of Yisrael to give but requests that the giving is done from ones heart,
\nas much as their heart moves them to give to the Lord. The building materials acquired
\nfor the construction of the temple is taken from the gift contribution of the people.
\nThis is a very significant portion of scripture, the reason being that these scriptures make
\na distinction between a genuine believer and all the other men of the congregation of Yisrael.
\nThe honest and sincere giving to God for materials to build His tabernacle illustrates for us
\nthat God desires us to “love from a pure heart and a
\ngood conscience and a sincere faith”<\/font><\/em>
\n(2 Timothy 1:5<\/em>)<\/font> and have “sincere
\nlove”<\/font><\/em> (1 Peter 1:22<\/em>)<\/font> for
\nGod and for our brethren. The honesty of heart distinguishes the genuine man or woman
