{"id":1139,"date":"2011-04-03T23:38:00","date_gmt":"2011-04-03T23:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.matsati.com\/bblog2\/client\/index.cfm\/2011\/4\/3\/Parashat-Metzora-Tsaraat-skin-disease-and-our-need-for-a-Savior"},"modified":"2012-09-29T16:23:44","modified_gmt":"2012-09-29T16:23:44","slug":"parashat-metzora-tsaraat-skin-disease-and-our-need-for-a-savior","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.matsati.com\/index.php\/parashat-metzora-tsaraat-skin-disease-and-our-need-for-a-savior\/","title":{"rendered":"Parashat Metzora, Tsaraat (skin disease) and our need for a Savior."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<!-- Place some text here to wrap near image --><\/p>\n<p>In the law of Tsaraat (Skin Disease) there are two sets of cleansing requirements, the first<br \/>\nset is for the person who has the finances to purchase the required Korbanot (Sacrifices) for his<br \/>\ncleansing and purification services.&nbsp; The second set is for the poor person who cannot afford<br \/>\nto purchase what is required for his cleansing and purification.&nbsp; What is interesting is that<br \/>\ncleansing and purification can occur having differences in the required Korbanot.&nbsp; This indicates<br \/>\nfor us the important differences between what is known as the letter of the law and the spirit of the<br \/>\nlaw when a person is to come before the Lord.&nbsp; The letter of the law versus the spirit of the law<br \/>\nis an idiomatic antithesis.
