{"id":1108,"date":"2011-10-10T16:01:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-10T16:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.matsati.com\/bblog2\/client\/index.cfm\/2011\/10\/10\/Chol-HaMoed-Sukkot-Gods-blessing-the-Torah-and-Salvation"},"modified":"2012-09-29T16:23:59","modified_gmt":"2012-09-29T16:23:59","slug":"chol-hamoed-sukkot-gods-blessing-the-torah-and-salvation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.matsati.com\/index.php\/chol-hamoed-sukkot-gods-blessing-the-torah-and-salvation\/","title":{"rendered":"Chol HaMo&#8217;ed Sukkot, God\u2019s blessing, the Torah, and Salvation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<!-- Place some text here to wrap near image --><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This week&rsquo;s reading for Chol HaMo&rsquo;ed Sukkot (\u05d7\u05d5\u05dc-\u05d4\u05de\u05d5\u05e2\u05d3 \u05e1\u05d5\u05db\u05d5\u05ea) is taken from the end of Parashat Ki Tisa (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Shemot \/ Exodus 33:12-34:26<\/em><\/span>).&nbsp; Moshe has asked the Lord God to forgive the sins of the Children of Yisrael (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>\u05d5\u05b0\u05e2\u05b7\u05ea\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b4\u05dd-\u05ea\u05bc\u05b4\u05e9\u05bc\u05c2\u05b8\u05d0 \u05d7\u05b7\u05d8\u05bc\u05b8\u05d0\u05ea\u05b8\u05dd<\/em><\/span>).&nbsp; Moshe asks the Lord to reveal Himself and His glory (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>\u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05bc\u05b9\u05d0\u05de\u05b7\u05e8 \u05d4\u05b7\u05e8\u05b0\u05d0\u05b5\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e0\u05b8\u05d0 \u05d0\u05b6\u05ea-\u05db\u05bc\u05b0\u05d1\u05b9\u05d3\u05b6\u05da\u05b8<\/em><\/span>).&nbsp; The Lord commands Moshe to make two stone tablets like the previous ones (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>\u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05bc\u05b9\u05d0\u05de\u05b6\u05e8 \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05b9\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b6\u05dc-\u05de\u05b9\u05e9\u05c1\u05b6\u05d4 \u05e4\u05bc\u05b0\u05e1\u05b8\u05dc-\u05dc\u05b0\u05da\u05b8 \u05e9\u05c1\u05b0\u05e0\u05b5\u05d9-\u05dc\u05bb\u05d7\u05b9\u05ea \u05d0\u05b2\u05d1\u05b8\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05db\u05bc\u05b8\u05e8\u05b4\u05d0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b9\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d5\u05b0\u05db\u05b8\u05ea\u05b7\u05d1\u05b0\u05ea\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e2\u05b7\u05dc-\u05d4\u05b7\u05dc\u05bc\u05bb\u05d7\u05b9\u05ea \u05d0\u05b6\u05ea-\u05d4\u05b7\u05d3\u05bc\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d0\u05b2\u05e9\u05c1\u05b6\u05e8 \u05d4\u05b8\u05d9\u05d5\u05bc \u05e2\u05b7\u05dc-\u05d4\u05b7\u05dc\u05bc\u05bb\u05d7\u05b9\u05ea \u05d4\u05b8\u05e8\u05b4\u05d0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b9\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d0\u05b2\u05e9\u05c1\u05b6\u05e8 \u05e9\u05c1\u05b4\u05d1\u05bc\u05b7\u05e8\u05b0\u05ea\u05bc\u05b8<\/em><\/span>) and He will write on them the words that were on the previous set of Tablets.&nbsp; Moshe demonstrates for us this week the importance of knowing God according to His ways in his statement <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>\u05d5\u05b0\u05e2\u05b7\u05ea\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b4\u05dd-\u05e0\u05b8\u05d0 \u05de\u05b8\u05e6\u05b8\u05d0\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d7\u05b5\u05df \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05e2\u05b5\u05d9\u05e0\u05b6\u05d9\u05da\u05b8 \u05d4\u05d5\u05b9\u05d3\u05b4\u05e2\u05b5\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e0\u05b8\u05d0 \u05d0\u05b6\u05ea-\u05d3\u05bc\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05db\u05b6\u05da\u05b8 \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b5\u05d3\u05b8\u05e2\u05b2\u05da\u05b8 \u05dc\u05b0\u05de\u05b7\u05e2\u05b7\u05df \u05d0\u05b6\u05de\u05b0\u05e6\u05b8\u05d0-\u05d7\u05b5\u05df \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05e2\u05b5\u05d9\u05e0\u05b6\u05d9\u05da\u05b8 \u05d5\u05bc\u05e8\u05b0\u05d0\u05b5\u05d4 \u05db\u05bc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e2\u05b7\u05de\u05bc\u05b0\u05da\u05b8 \u05d4\u05b7\u05d2\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05d9 \u05d4\u05b7\u05d6\u05bc\u05b6\u05d4<\/em><\/span> meaning <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&lsquo;Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways that I may know You, so that I may find favor in Your sight.
